We sat down with Amarachi to learn more about her journey, her role, and her vision for talent development at Promon.

A passion for growth
Amarachi’s journey into talent development began with a deep interest in helping people unlock their full potential. With a background in programs that drive employee and leadership development and engagement, unlocking strong sales performance and people growth through employee development and inclusive leadership, she has worked with teams to deliver tailored career development programs for leaders and employees, led mentorship programs, fostered a culture of employee growth through impactful inclusive learning programs, career development initiatives, and leadership training.
"I’ve always been passionate about helping people grow in their careers. Talent development isn’t just about training programs—it’s about creating an environment where employees feel empowered to reach their full potential." Amarachi shares.
What talent development means at Promon
As Talent Development Manager, Amarachi is focused on building a strong learning culture at Promon. She’s working on initiatives like
- Tailored career and team development programs
- Employee skills development & leadership training
- Mentorship and coaching opportunities
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning
"One of my goals is to ensure that every Promon employee has access to the tools and resources they need to succeed. Whether it’s learning new skills, growing into more senior technical roles, leadership roles, or simply finding fulfillment in their work, talent development plays a key role in company success, and every employee plays a role in talent development" she explains.
Her advice for career growth
Amarachi believes that professional development is a two-way street. Growth opportunities are discovered and developed in partnership between the employee and the company!
While companies should provide growth opportunities, employees should also take charge of their own learning. Her top advice?
"Be curious. Be open. Be proactive. Seek out opportunities, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Growth happens when we challenge ourselves. When we stay positive and open to learning new things, solving problems, taking initiative and take on added responsibilities, we get the opportunity to grow with additional tools in our career toolbox., Starting with one development activity at a time – from mentorship to coaching to learning additional technical and business skills, you can take charge of your development, with the company right by your side to support you where you need it.”
