The Role:
As our IT Support Technician, you’ll play a key role in Promon’s IT support function. From managing day-to-day support requests to overseeing logistics, hardware lifecycle, and supplier agreements, you’ll be at the heart of making sure our employees have the tools they need to succeed.
You’ll maintain and run our ITSM system, ensuring tickets are handled effectively, processes are documented, and IT operations are reliable. This is a hands-on role with a wide scope. One moment you’ll be troubleshooting a technical issue, the next you’ll be coordinating with suppliers. You’ll need strong communication skills, an organized approach, and the ability to balance technical know-how with service-minded support.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for someone with proven hands-on IT support experience, who thrives on solving problems and keeping systems running seamlessly. You’re as comfortable working with end users as you are with IT systems, networks, and hardware.
Must-haves:
- Solid experience in IT support functions.
- Experience with IT systems and tools.
- Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) and RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) solutions.
- Experience with networking.
- Ability to document and maintain IT support processes.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset—ready to help and solve problems hands-on.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English language.
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
- Experience managing software licenses and license frameworks.
- Familiarity with MS Azure, MS Windows, and Apple macOS.
- Experience working with client hardware (PCs, phones, peripherals).
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.
- Maintain the ITSM system, handling support tickets, documenting processes, and ensuring high-quality support delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage agreements, invoicing, and logistics.
- Oversee the hardware lifecycle, from procurement to retirement.
- Provide hands-on support for users across Promon, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the IT Team and other stakeholders to align on needs, changes, updates, and problem-solving.
- Maintain and operate logistics support, ensuring hardware and IT needs are met efficiently.

Where You'll Work:
Due to the nature of this role, we’re looking for someone ideally based near our Oslo office in Vika (or excited about relocating here!) who’s happy to spend at least three days a week with the team in the office.
